Open since 2013, the Gîte Chez Jean-Louis offers food, lodging, genuine and friendly welcome and a grand view of the cirque of Mafate!
Perched on the heights of Grand Place les Hauts, Jean-Louis and Mirella Bulin’s gite overlooks Mafate and offers breathtaking views of the cirque.
Located in the heart of Mafate’s Nature, the place is a haven of peace where you can enjoy the tranquility of this end of the world.
Accommodation
With a capacity of 8-10 people, the gite consists of:
• 1 dormitory of 4 people (bunk beds)
• 2 "double" rooms (double bed + bunk bed)
• Shared bathroom facilities: bathroom with shower and basin, separate toilet
The bed linen is provided (sheets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases), but hikers must bring their own towels.
The table d’hote
Mirella and Jean-Louis can have you at their table for lunch and / or dinner by reservation only.
The meals are made with home-made products that provide tasty and traditional meals.
