Recommended by The Guide du Routard, the Geo Guide, Trip Advisor and the Lonely Planet, the Caz Océane is known for its delightful setting, its comfortable rooms and the hospitality of its owners, Pascal and Marie-Ange .
Located in the heights of the island, in La Chaloupe Saint Leu, the property enjoys a convenient location and offers splendid views of the lagoons of Saint-Leu and l’Ermitage.
In the garden
Caz Océane’s garden is a treasure, as it houses many species of flowers that will show you the specifics of Reunion’s Nature.
On the terrace
Caz Océane has a large terrace overlooking the ocean, divided into two spaces (relaxation / meal).

The apartment of Caz Océane
Caz Océane offers a fully equipped flat, independent of the rest of the building, with its own terrace with a view on the west coast of the island.
The apartment can be rented by the week or month.
Minimum stay is 3 days.
The table d’hote
Pascal and Marie-Ange welcome you to their table on the terrace or inside, for breakfast or dinner.
Breakfast is served at a time that suits you. Early in the morning for those who wish to hike before sunrise, or until 10 or 11 a.m. for those who like to have a lie in.
Evening meals are served after a "mandatory" apéritif (with homemade samosas, bouchons (Chinese dumplings), rum, etc...), then Pascal and Marie-Ange will serve you the Creole specialties which they cook.
Please note: Pascal can prepare your picnic if you like (providing a cooler filled with a packed lunch).
Two minutes from the Caz Océane is a take-off area for paragliders (spot of Colimaçons).
You can book your first flight directly at the Caz Océane who will advise you on qualified clubs and instructors.
Besides paragliding, Caz Océane is ideally located for exploring the cirques of Mafate or Cilaos, and to visit the Maïdo. All these sites are within an hour's drive away, thanks to the Route des Tamarins in particular, which passes close to the property and gets you closer to the beaches of the west coast as well as the activities of larger cities, or the lush Nature in the heights of the island.
