Microlighting in Reunion Island
Ultra Light and Motorized ("ULM" in French), microlighting is the ideal way to approach the most inaccessible spots of the island and feel ultra-free and adventurous!
With your face in the wind, behind a qualified pilot who describes the sites beneath, you'll just have to appreciate the scenery and capture this pure moment of happiness with your camera, since a microlight aircraft is capable to reach bursts of speeds of 110 km / h, but also to reduce its speed to 60 km / h only. Some providers offer flights over the lagoon, so do not forget to watch whales and dolphins near the coral reef!
All clubs offer initiations or two-seater aircraft flights, ranging from simple first flights to whole tours of the island.

Flying over Reunion Island in a plane
The heirs of Roland Garros, Réunion's pioneer of aviation, share their passion in several flying clubs in the north and south of the island. These are associations offering flying lessons and first flights for about 60 € per person for a half hour flight.
