Parachute jumping in Reunion

Dropped a small plane at 3800m altitude, you find yourself alone in the sky, the island of Reunion below. A jump in freefall takes about 50 seconds, 200 kph, before the parachute fails to open in 1500. Then there is a downhill stroll under sail for four minutes. Thrills guaranteed.Happiness!

There are no cons-specific instructions for performing parachute jumps and free fall. Obviously, it must be in good physical health, but also moral.

Jumping Discovery

The first jump is tandem, ie with an instructor strapped to your back. It is he who will give the impetus to jump when the plane and then directs the parachute. You can be photographed and even filmed during your jump.

You can skip "only" the first time without a monitor in the back but accompanied by two instructors. To this must be trained, up Freefall (Pac).

Club in Reunion Island
One club offers skydiving activity. The Paraclub Bourbon, approved by French Parachute Federation and the Departmental Direction of Youth and Sports, is the site of Pierrefonds, near Saint Pierre.
Ten certified instructors work in this club.
