CHEZ BILLY Ô TIPIKEMEN KREOL ! - Creole restaurant in Hell Bourg
Billy opened his restaurant Ô Tipikemen Kréol in 2021 just at the entrance to the famous village of Hell Bourg.
He’s always been a cooking addict, and he now concocts with pleasure a cuisine flavored with Reunion’s spices in this traditional restaurant located in the former eco-museum of Salazie after having revived this place steeped in history.
From the old museum, he kept the old still in the traditional tin hut that now houses the litchi wood bar. Billy and his team serve Creole but also Chinese cuisine, as well as a few other dishes.
Billy likes to work with local and seasonal products: the famous sausage and cold meats from Salazie, chayotes (of course!), zembérics and vouèmes (two local dried beans), brèdes, the chayote potato, etc ... and offers punches and juices made from fresh fruit!
The menu changes every day and offers 3 or 4 dishes based on local meat or fish, and a vegetarian or vegan dish (on request by reservation).
