REUNION PECHE REQUINS - Shark fishing, Big game fishing

Shark fishing trips:

The crew invites you to participate in big game fishing, even very big ones! Indeed, the crew has recognized experience in shark fishing.
This fishing is done in "Catch and Release", that is to say that the shark is not captured, sometimes after being tagged as part of a participation in scientific research.

The main species sought are tiger sharks (the longest, up to 4-5 m) and bulldog sharks (up to 3 m).

The progress of a shark fishing trip is generally done by:
- search for fresh bait
- choice of fishing area
- installation of "drifts"
Possibility to jig in parallel. Or go bottom fishing.

You can, if you wish, film shark fishing actions!

Pelagic fishing trips:

The fish sought after are the legendary marlin from November to March, but also yellowfin tuna, albacore, banana tuna and dolphinfish throughout the year, not to mention the other possible catches!

We use different techniques: fast trolling, slow trolling, drifting, jigging, live bait, depending on the fishing conditions and the most effective techniques during the trip.

Bottom fishing trips:

In this type of fishing, we look for fish living on the rocks at depth. These are reds, bottom pooches, trevallies, snappers, etc., which will make you happy.

AKILI MALI does not take more than four fishermen on board so as to turn more easily on fishing actions!
Accompanying persons can board, for a total of 6 passengers maximum. It is therefore in a small committee and in a friendly atmosphere that your fishing trip will take place.

The ship is equipped for professional navigation and has all the electronic and fishing equipment necessary for the smooth running of the outing.
The equipment allows you to practice all the types of fishing offered:
- pelagic fishing: slow trolling, fast trolling, drift, jig,...
- bottom fishing: handlines, live fishing, spinning,...
- shark fishing: drift, catalina,...

Fishing is done in stand up, in direct contact with the animal!

We can also come across dolphins or whales (in season).

Enthusiasts will be able to bring their own equipment (subject to the assessment of the captain and possibly subjected to severe test !!!)

Duration :
The outings take place for half a day or a day according to your convenience.

Half day
from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Full day
from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
