L’Auberge du parc: the ideal stopover for hikers

Located on the mountainside, the Auberge du Parc is a perfect base for hikers. They will be able to conquer the Piton des Neiges the trail of which begins a short walk from the Auberge du Parc, or embark on the climb to La Roche Merveilleuse, and many other accessible only on foot sites. Most trails, whether easy or difficult, begin near the inn.

Comfort and conviviality

L'Auberge du Parc offers a comfortable and friendly setting. All double beds are equipped with orthopedic mattresses and heaters are available for those sensitive to cold. The linen is provided (duvet cover, sheets, towels, etc...) and you can, if necessary, ask for a cot for your baby.

As for the atmosphere of L'Auberge du Parc, you will enjoy it around the table d'hote where you will share meals with the other occupants of the hostel.

The table d'hote

L'Auberge du Parc offers meals with local flavors (for dinner only). The menu features typical Reunionese dishes, prepared with local products such as Cilaos lentils, guinea fowl, farm chicken, freshly harvested leafy vegetables, etc... Gourmets can request the specialty of the table d'hote : house smoked pork ribs with Cilaos lentils (on request only).

Dishes: carri, rice and Cilaos lentils
