LA MAISON DU GÉRANIUM - Geranium farm at Le Maido
Welcome to the Maison du Géranium, a traditional family distillery located at an altitude of over 4500 ft on the route to the Maïdo, in the west of Reunion Island.
On their 5 acre geranium plantation, Isabelle and Jean-Jacques will show you their passion for this plant with many virtues. Discover the products of such distillation made in pure Reunion traditions.
The Maison du Geranium at the Maïdo is also a group of about ten producers who work together for the validation of this local plant the products of which are manufactured according to the rules of Reunion’s farmers! Not to be missed!
The craft shop offers the products of geranium farming; tea, jelly, cosmetics ...
You will also find coffee, homemade jams and spices from Reunion and the Mascarene islands.
A special place is given to essential oils, perfumes, massage oils, well-being products.
A tasting will be offered with white tea with geranium or herb tea, geranium jelly and jam, seasonal fruit jams, traditional corn cake, local rums ...

Visit of the garden
• Guided tours at 11 am by reservation.
About 1 hour tour + tasting.
Every day except on Wednesdays by reservation (reservation for groups).
Individuals must book their tour at least the day before.
Reservations recommended two days in advance for schools, associations and works councils.
• Self-guided tours from 8:30 to 12:30 and from 2 to 4 pm every day except on Wednesdays.
Possibility to have lunch at our table d'hote (on reservation).
